Today, believe it or not, was the longest day of school I have ever had. Ever. Ever, ever, ever, ever, EVER in my life. In the United States, I started school at 7:50 and ended at 2:30. Here, on Mondays, school goes from 8:25 to 4:25. Normally on Mondays, I got out of school an hour early. This monday, however, the schedule just changed, and I had to spend the full eight hours of school at school. In classes. Speaking French. Needless to say, it was a long day.
After school, I came home. I spent my time doing the usual things, skyping and talking on facebook. I ate dinner. I took a shower. I am now going to bed.
All in all, there is not much for me to blog about today. But I did think it was worth sharing that in all of the twelve years of my life that I have been attending school, today, October 4th, 2010, was the longest day of school I have ever had.
today I appreciate: people
Talia Marie Saville, you make me laugh! But it's not your fault, 8 hours in class can be long, because you are not used to it, in highschool in France, i had to start class at 8:00 and i was done at 5:30 almost everyday, and when we were done at 4:30, it was a good day! So i really appreciate the classes in the US!!!
ReplyDeleteSo good luck, but you'll see you'll get used to it in a while. And when your French will get even better, it will seem shorter!
By the way, today I appreciate: talking to you
